In the effort of Federal Government to provide free access to healthcare services across the states of the federation. The National Health Insurance (NHIS ) in collaboration with SOCHEMA today officially flag off access to free Healthcare services to 43,250 beneficiaries of BHCPF across the state at General Hospital Tambuwal.

The Honourable Special Adviser to His Excellency on SOCHEMA Dr Amamatu Yusuf declared the program open and called on all facilities under the program to commence free access to health care to all enrolled beneficiaries under the program.

The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Health Dr. Ali Inname represented by the Executive Director Hospital Services Management Board called on the facilities to ensure full compliance and work within guidelines and regulations of the program. In a related development the state Coordinator NHIS reminded Health facilities the task ahead of them and called on them to operate with the books of the regulations of the program.

The Chairman Tambuwal Local Government Council, represtative of His Eminance the Sultan of Sokoto who is also the District Head of Dogon Daji and the oversear of Tambuwal District Head called on the people of the state to give maximum cooperation to the program considering the huge amount of money government has investment on the program.
