The event was organized for Honourable Commissioners of Health, Finance, Head of State Internally Generated Revenue and Head of State Health Insurance Agencies on strategies of mobilizing domestic revenue to Health Financing.

Professor M. S. Sambo the Executive Secretary NHIS represented by Dr. John G. explain the concept of UHC during his goodwill message. He call on participants to see this meeting as a marriage between the stake holders in supporting health in their various states.

Papers were presented by Professionals from the field of Economics, Health Financing Revenue Generation and Management to address the issue of health financing in the states.

Technical Sessions with Participants of selected states were held to on Trust and Ligitimacy, Management and Measurement Alignment and Sustainability.

Sokoto State was blessed with full attendance of Honourable Commissioner of Health Dr. Muhammad Ali Inname and his counter part in Finance Abdul Samad Dasuki, the Executive Chairman Sokoto State Board of Internal Revenue and the Representative of Special Adviser SOCHEMA.
